Step 2: Download this thing ;)

Find a game that you like, find a character that you like, play a couple of matches, lose, spectate other players or get on YouTube, get on training room, play a couple of matches, lose, spectate other players, etc etc etc

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY: HAVE FUN!

Here are some FGC-related videos that I'd like to archive for easy access:

Fun video to watch: Tokido's amazing EVO 2017 run
Skip to 4:20 to see the biggest flex in fighting games since the Daigo parry.

Core-A Gaming - The Three Types of Fighting Game Players

LA Akuma's Human Potential series - Hidden wisdom from a SF2 OG

One of my favorite matches ever: Haitani vs Juso in Super Street Fighter 4

Evo 2013 Super Street Fighter 4 - Grand Finals - Xian vs Tokido.
This one is important for me because I like Seth Killian's lecture at the beggining about the importance of empathy in the context of competition.

Also, it's the best SF4 grand final because it's Gen vs Akuma, who are in-game rivals. Both of these characters felt like extensions of the players controlling them. It's anime as fuck.
